Melon Games have no events currently planned but check back again soon for future updates.

GAMAYO is a video game industry networking conference and we got to exhibit our game Belt Barons and received some useful feedback. There were loads of other games exhibiting and it was inspirational to see what all the other developers have created. We also participated in some of the round tables events which were very informative about the gaming industry.
We had great fun exhibiting and would like to thank Games Republic for doing such a great job organizing it.

Wakefield games weekend was a free 2-day event where we exhibited “Down In The Depths Blind”, “Deep Dive To The Hive Mind” and also for the first time a very early build of “Belt Barons”. We also participated in a Q&A on stage answering many questions about games and game development. It had 40 indie game developers from Yorkshire and the North of England. The event was on the 8th and 9th of March 2025 and was hosted by Games Republic at the Wakefield Exchange. It was the largest games industry network event in the North of England. As well as indie developers there was also space to play Halo celebrating 20 years since Halo 2. There were also opportunities to challenge influencers and online creators at your favourite games such as Rocket League.
We had great fun exhibiting at the games weekend and would like to thank Games Republic for doing such a great job organizing it.

Odyssey Games Festival was a great weekend event on the 6th and 7th July 2024 where we exhibited “Down In The Depths Blind”. We had a great time showing off our game and got some great feedback. We also participated in a Q&A with some other developers and answered some great questions.
There were also some great arcade games to play as well as many other indie games. You could also play some AAA games like Rocket League and Fortnite.
We had a really good time exhibiting at Odyssey and would like to thank the organisers for making such a great event.

The Bradford “Let's Play Family Weekend” was held in early March 2024 where we exhibited “Down In The Depths Blind” for the first time. The usual location the “National Science and Media Museum” was temporarily closed for the transformative Sound and Vision project. This led to the festival being hosted at the Broadway shopping centre. Exhibiting in this location led to our games being played by people that do not normally play games. We received some great and interesting feedback that helped us develop the game further.
We had a really good time exhibiting at Yorkshire Games Festival and would like to thank the organisers for making such a great event.
